You are a good mom.

What happens if you reintroduce a fruit? Does he react? I hope the

enzymes work for you. I have no ADHD children so I can't help out

much. I do know that many find the SCD experience much better than

GFCF.>>>>>

Thanks Pam.

I haven't tried reintroducing fruit, primarily because we really don't like

the reactions. He is very sensitive, but I think that he has a cumulative

reaction to them. Thanks for the tip on the SCD, I will look into it.

Robet,

Fruit is rich in fructose that can be made into glucose or fat. With cancer, the

cancer cell is highly dependent on stealing all the glucose from the blood it

can as part of its process of exporting lactic acid and acid protons from

mitochondrial production to poison the local environment for metastasis and

expansion. Please read the PDF you bought. In the Details section is a source of

Berry flavonoids and anthocynidins that are the principle cancer killing

components of fruit (especially from berries of all sorts). Black raspberries

kill via inhibition of NFkB activation. With these berry flavonoids and xylitol

or stevia, you can have berry flavored drinks that avoid the sugar that feed

cancers. These berry anthocyanidins and flavonoids have been found in many

experimental verifications  to kill cancer cells by the inhibition of NFkB gene

activation. This may not satisfy your urge for fruit, but the sugar is a cancer

growth substance - literally

cancer food !  People with cancer should go on a NO SUGAR DIET and a SUPER LOW

CARBOHYDRATE DIET because that will help starve the cancer. Get rid to the

problem and then you can happily go back to eating some fruit. Too much fruit is

a goad to weight increase and gut fat cell stuffing. This also raises

inflammatory actions. Fruit can be healthy in small amounts, but fresh

vegetables and natural sources of omega-3 fats like the mercury free Alaskan

wild salmon are great for further thwarting cancer.

With prostate cancer and a PSA of 203 I have now been told that I should

not eat any fruit whatsoever because of the sugar in fruit. Whatever happened

to 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away', 'The Grape Cure', you must eat

raspberries, strawberries and blueberries, the banana in the Budwig Diet?

I have been vegetarian for 40 years, long ago gave up wheat and dairy

products. Can anyone give me good reason to carry on eating fruit or do you all

agree that fruit is banned?

I had mets to lungs and bones. After trying everything naturally (did this for

a year and progressed from stage II to IV), I did Herceptin and Taxotere. Had a

complete response. Lungs are clear and most bones have healed. The reason I

mention this, is that a met on the first left anterior rib has started playing

up. I am on a clinical trial and do scans every 9 weeks, so I have a good idea

of what is going on. (I don't like the frequency of scans, but the trial is

worth this danger)

I have noticed that if I consume sugar (I only eat sugar in its natural form -

fruits, goji berry, etc) that I can feel the cancer getting active again.

So, I am learning through my first rib, what works and what doesn't. I get

Herceptin every 3 weeks and I can also feel it destroying the cancer,

immediately after treatment. (Others on Herceptin have noticed the same thing).

I feel very fortunate to be in this situation, as I can play a bit with what

works for me and what doesn't. I know for me, that sugar gets the cancer going

again, and I do like eating fruit. So, I would love to hear what everyone is

eating and some of their favorite recipes, that do not include fruit.

Victor, it would be great if you could give us a sample menu, for 3 or 4 days,

of what your wife eats, and what supplements she takes, I know you have

mentioned this before. I would love to hear from anyone whose diet is working

for them and what they eat, that does not include sugar or any processed foods

:)

Best wishes

Fern

, I have advanced prostrate with bone mets in 2007. I was told I'd be dead

in less then three years so I was supposed to have died June last year, but on

the diet my naturopath put me on, Im still here. I have read hormone dependent

cancer likes fructose sugar more then they like cane sugar. so I dont have fruit

eather or bread or milk any more. I know it not enough to fight prostrate cancer

so I have soy milk and pills with red clover in them for the isoflavones these

mimic testosterone taking it place on the cancer

receptor blocking it from getting testosterone. I have a salad for lunch but

for diner I make sure to have cabbage, brussel spouts, other veg but with little

meat
