Guest guest
That's interesting Tod, but no, neither high dose Vitamin A or iron. He gets 3,000 IU Alpha & Beta Carotenes in his BrainChild Spectrum II... Would that qualify as high dose? > Vitamin A toxicity and Hemochromatosis (iron overload) can also cause > cracked dry lips. Are you giving high dose vitamin A or iron supps.?? > > Tod
Guest guest
3,000 iu beta carotene would not qualify. Beta Carotene has to be converted to Vit. A by the body, so it will only convert as much as it needs. Basically impossible to get toxic level with Beta carotene. > > Vitamin A toxicity and Hemochromatosis (iron overload) can also > cause > > cracked dry lips. Guest guest
If your son breathes through his mouth, that can contribute to dry mouth areas too. .
