I started chelating n when I felt I had no other options. Houston

enzymes for 10 months, SCD for 4 months, and still could not get yeast/bacteria

under control for long and he was starting to react to *everything. I was

looking

at my notebook recently and day after day he was melting down and anxious and

pestering, even after a meal like plain organic hamburger and peas.

We're now in the middle of round 16 and he's doing great. Beyond great. I was

not going to chelate -- his hair test didn't even meet the counting rules --

but I felt I had nothing left to try and so I decided to give it a month's

trial. I'm using Andy's protocol, and chelating myself too while I'm at it so I

have an idea what it feels like (my hair test did meet the counting rules).

Anyway, I'm not trying to sell you on anything, just wanted to say that our

experience has been extremely positive. n says the pills make him feel much

better.

Well, my son tolerated no supplements except HNI enzymes, until about

round 50 of ALA chelation. So I would recommend you keep researching

it, especially just using ALA which is what I use. Perhaps if you

knew more about it, it would not be as scary?

Good luck.

---Nell,

Thanks for your reply. I know both of us are high heavy

metal--mostly from my amalgams and possibly vaccines.

We tried metal-free for a few days when we were just starting to

get info but stopped when we realized it has ALA and dosing

was all wrong. She became much bolder physically (trying

steps by herself) which indicated to me she needs help getting

metals out of her body.

I have to wait to chelate myself til we stop nursing and I've been

having a hard time trying to decide whether to keep nursing (and

giving her amalgam metals with otherwise pretty good stuff) or

stop before chelation.

Thanks again, Nell. I

Dana, my son also has alot of trouble with tolerating supplements and

poor eating habits. everyone says heal the gut and then chelate.. but

how do we heal the gut if they feel so sick and do not want to eat or

take their supplements. i have thought of chelating to get him better

and not waiting for his gut to heal...do you know anyone that has done

that??? scary to me, becuase i have seen dilated pupiles just with

supplements i worry about chelation therapy and his health not being

ready for it...... thanks cheryl -

For my son, I was unable to heal his gut UNTIL I chelated.

Yep, I did.

I use ALA only, and started at a low dose. This worked for my kids.

My son was " otherwise healthy " , which sounds very strange to me

because he could not eat anything without enzymes and I could not use

supplements, so how could he be " healthy " at all?!

Anyway, I don't know your child's issues, but this is what I did.

Good luck.

can you scan the hair test to a jpg and put it in the files section

so people can see it and comment? maybe the metatrix panel as well.
