The Nu thera very often is a big big problem for those with

phenol/salicylate sensitivities. Look for some more all-natural with

out any mega-doses of anything (particularly B6). Brainchilds has a

very good line for this group of people. Their stuff is optimized for

highly sensitive children.

one they have called Phenol Assist Companion?

I have yet to hear of even one person those products have helped with

phenols/salicylate sensitivities. The best bet is the No-Fenol by

Houston. www.houstonni.com

Houston invented the enzymes for phenols/salicylates and other try to

copy it, but so far the No-Fenol is the only one that works on this

particular problem. Then you only need one product anyway.

You can open the capsules and mix the enzymes with any food or drink.

And then click the capsule back together if there is unused enzymes

for later. Here is a link to mixing suggestions:

With enzymes, the number of ingredients isn't important. It is

*which* ingredients are included and how they interact. More is not

better at all with enzymes. If you don't know what you are doing you

can put enzymes in that cancel each other out. But overall the proof

is in the pudding, so to speak. Experience shows that No-Fenol is the

one that does the job. We have used it with good succes for 2 years

now.

hi, thanks for all the info! I am confused though on what to start

with...should I just get one first like the Peptizyde or maybe just

the Zyme Prime?? Or should I just start with the No Fenol one?

thanks for info. My son does tend to have a lot of gas and bloating,

sometimes his stomach is hard and round like he is pregnant! Do

these enzymes cause weight gain though? I read on their web site

that they can increase appetite in kids who are malnourished, but

want to make sure that doesn't mean my already over weight son who

tends to crave foods and eat too much, that he wn't gain more with

these. thanks for ideas and info!

I use the HNI No-Fenol. It works very well for my family.

It depends on what your child is eating.

My son ate an enormous amount of food until I started enzymes and then

removed the foods he still did not tolerate, even with enzymes. So

enzymes may be able to help your child with his over-eating, altho you

might find that you still need to remove foods.

Good luck.
