has been writing a few things recently about some people giving higher

doses of enzymes throughout the day, with and without food, and seeing even

better results. I feel like this has been happening with our son--with more

enzymes, he seems to be eating more, better food, be happier, chattier, etc

though we also just started SCD two weeks ago so that could be a factor as well.

My question is a general one, wondering how high some people go. A standard

amount for most people is probably 6-8 enzymes a day (two with each meal, and a

snack, perhaps--I'm guessing, here). But do some people go to twice that?

12-15? Is that just throwing money away? (I realize the amount of food being

eaten is big factor. I'm just curious what other people are working their way

up to.) THANKS

Are you using the SCD versions of the enzymes or the regular versions?

Thanks

We double enzymes when ph is sick, so that would be two of each of the

three at each meal and snack. We also give them with beverages in addition

to food snacks and meals. On average we run through about one and a half

bottles of each enzyme every month. Six bottles with 90 in each is about 540

enzymes a month, perhaps minus 40-50, as there are usually a few rattling

around in the bottle at the end of the month. I'd say on average, with no

illness ph consumes 12 enzymes a day. For us it's not wasteful. Now,

ph is doing well enough that I don't have to give enzymes with every

single morsel, he can eat or drink something without enzymes and there isn't

an immediate problem, so I'd say some healing has gone on, but for the most

part we use enzymes all the time. I even have a bottle of each in my purse

so we're not ever without. Plus we have bottles stored at relatives houses

where we eat occasionally. My husband, who has an aversion to getting into

my purse, will do so for the leather satchel that contains the bottles of

enzymes, and will in fact carry this red leather satchel around with him to

the movies, friends houses. You don't know how it will affect your child and

your life, until you've used them. For us, they make trips to friends houses

and the movies possible.
