Guest guest
>>> Has anyone tried the clathrating agents - free metal trapped within a colloid (NDF,MetalFree, PCA-Rx)? This is only supposed to remove the bad metals, not the good ones. I don't think the NDF is a clatherating product like the MetalFree and PCA-Rx are. The PCA seems to be the best of these and the only one I have heard regular good reports from and not negatives. Here is a summary of some investigation I did a couple years ago: http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtPCA.htm You can only get to that page with the direct link. The whole issue of chelation/detox/clatheration/metal removal is a very hot and volatile one, so don't be surprised if you get some very heated opinions in various groups about various protocols. I like doing the low-n-slow, more natural approach with enzymes, nutrition, and helping the body along as much as possible. best with all this. . Guest guest
Hi: I just wanted to add that on the chelatingkids2 list a couple of weeks ago there was a BIG discussion about NDF. Several moms are finding it very very helpful. Apparently one of the concerns initially was that the chlorella used came from a source that wasn't totally pure (since chlorella attracts mercury it could just pick it up in the ocean and start out contaminated in the product). NDF manufacturers claim the chlorella is completely pure and there is apparently (I havent been to the site in awhile) some good info on the website. Other parents chimed in that there was no solid " research " backing up the claims NDF manufacturers were making. But then again, the parents using the TD-DMPS haven't seen any published studies/don't know entirely what's in the compound along w/the DMPS either, so I gues these issues are WAY complicated. The couple of moms speaking up for the NDF were raving so much about it (great results with as little as one drop/no negatives etc) that they got accused of having some kind of interest in the company (which they denied)!! Of course all of this is hearsay - I don't have any personal experience in this area, but I thought I would add it to the mix!! If you assume that your child has mercury in their brain, is there evidence that enzymes, nutrition, etc., will help them get rid of it? I am very concerned with the mercury link but I'm also wary of the chelation. I'd love to do a low-n-slow approach but I didn't know anything could cross the blood brain barrier other than a few chemicals. Thanks! in NC
Guest guest
We've been using MetalFree since the first of the year. My son is doing phenominally on it. We've been doing so many things for so long now that I can't really say what's attributable to what, but I do know that he is now talking in complete sentences, using his own language instead of echolalia, and has told his speech therapist 'yes' twice!!! (All we get is NO!) We have also recently totally removed milk - he had been getting goats milk. The biggest change we saw with that was MUCH clearer eyes, and his bags are mostly gone. I know that our nutritionist said that it was important to make sure that good nutritional support was in place before starting with the MetalFree, so you might want to find a good nutritionist to talk with about it. Mom to (2 years, 9 months) clathrating agents Has anyone tried the clathrating agents - free metal trapped within a colloid (NDF,MetalFree, PCA-Rx)? This is only supposed to remove the bad metals, not the good ones. We went to a DAN doctor who had mentioned this as a possibility instead of chelators. I am not really familiar with this or chelating. I've read a little about it. We are going to treat his gut first because he has issues there that need to be addressed first. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
