It has lists of foods to not have and foods to have. It advocates cultured vegetables, but I am not sure about yogurt, kefir, or cultured dairy. And there is a plug for ocean vegetables. The enzyme product listed is an average broad-spectrum product like many of the others on the shelf. But for therapuetic use...I think even the diet advocates say it isn't The Best in enzymes (at least a couple BED people said that). . Guest guest
Hi, Just a comment on the BED diet. I never used it but can garantee you the ph issue is an important one. instead of a diet full of veg (ie phenols) I use ph water (got a machine which makes the ph of drinking water higher) and it did wonder to my son. The younger one stopped having ezcema and the oldest one got calmer (we found out by chance about this water as we were staying in Japan were the water is very popular... after a week, both our kids were better and it took us a while to work out that my mum's in law water was alkaline.. so if you want my opinion, go for it. I also drink the water and am no longer constantly tired. Also my younger son who looked like he had hypoglycemia (constantly tired) is having so much energy!
