Guest guest
NAET did not help my son either. We took him for 8 months and did everything she told us to do with him at home. Robin

Guest guest
NAET didn't help my son either, but we had to stop after a fairly short time because we couldn't stick to the 25 hour avoidance of B vitamins. However, one of my best friend's daughters did brilliantly with NAET and can now eat all kinds of things she couldn't eat before. One huge difference between my son and her daughter; my son is heavily metal toxic and her daughter is not. I know I have read somewhere that NAET may not be effective in cases of metal toxicity, or that the effects may not stick. Sure can't remember where I read that, but seems to hold true in our instance. Guest guest
If the child's issues stem from allergic issues, then yes, NAET or BIOSET or other similar things can make a big difference. It doesn't work on all kids. It's one of those things that if it's helping, I think you will know it within a month of starting it. Our practitioner didn't do strictly naet... it was something different where she balanced energy before and after each treatment and so we didn't have to avoid the substances for a day afterward like they do in naet. I have a home bioset kit that I do use on Ethan. For Ethan, these types of treatments definitely helped him. Again, you'll know it pretty early on whether it's worth your time and money or not. Guest guest
, When you note if it's an allergy issue, would that also qualify for a sensitivity? For example my daughter is negative to mold but I believe she is sensitive to it. Just wondering if by allergy you mean more of the traditional sense such as a histime type reaction or not. I too have seen mixed results, so have been thinking it must have something to do with root cause. Thanks, Kari Re: Allergy Elimination (NAET) If the child's issues stem from allergic issues, then yes, NAET or BIOSET or other similar things can make a big difference. It doesn't work on all kids. Guest guest
Hi Kari-- I'm not sure how they define an " allergy " vs. a " sensitivity " either. The only things that I can think of that result in a " allergy " type of response for Ethan are things like pet dander... when he was muscle tested, he was " weak " to just about everything. The practitioner told me this was just a sign of leaky gut issues, so maybe she meant those were things he was " sensitive " to?? I don't really know what the answer is on how to differentiate between the two things. He's been treated for the things he's allergic to, such as the pet dander, and it's " helped " but it's not a 100 percent " fix " . We've had to repeat treatments for things like serotonin, mercury, etc. as I think that when they are metal toxic, things don't last indefinitely.
