Guest guest
, Do you know who you spoke with at DDI? The reason I ask is that my son went into HORRIBLE, HIDEOUS regression when I stopped AFP for ONE meal for the same test. I was in a panic, calling Pfeiffer, calling DDI, it was a Friday around noon, I remember it all so vividly because my son's behavior was making me sooooooo sad and Friday afternoon is a terrible time for a crisis. Five days like that??? We almost gave up on the test. ANYWAY, when I called DDI I was frantic and PUSHY. I ended up on the phone with their Senior VP of something or other, like the #2 person at the lab. They just wanted to get rid of me so badly, I was DEMANDING to talk to the lab people, I refused to accept anything a receptionist was telling me " she THOUGHT. " ANYWAY, that person told me that there is one specific enzyme called something like camotrimson, campotrypsin, something like that, that would affect the test, but that was the ONLY enzyme that would. I specifically read her the ingredients of the AFP and made her repeat herself several times. Eventually, a lab person at Pfeiffer also called me back (at like 9 p.m. that Friday night!) and confirmed the same info. So I don't know, you'll have to decide for yourself, but we simply did not have stopping the enzymes as an option. HTH instead of confuses the matter! > > Hi , > > After speaking to DDI, their rationale is that enzymes can produce > false positives/negatives. (Did I really say that!) > > thanks again, > >

Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for your reply. I didn't get back from church until late last night and I just checked my e-mail this morning. Actually, I was very upset that my daughter is not on her enzymes-- as she hardly made any eye contact with me this morning. I can't believe these enzymes make such a difference! I am trying to clarify this with Dr. Houston and maybe I can get her back on them this evening. Thank you soooooo much for your help! Blessings,
