Guest guest
Welcome to the group. The practice in Melbourne gets mixed reviews...I think you are referring to Dr. Bradstreet's practice. I have friends who go there; I have never been there. What I glean from my friends is that they believe everyone needs to stay GFCF. They are now promoting the doctor's own line of products and Kirkman's. They do a lot of expensive testing. I hear the new PA is very good. Guest guest
Hi. 's DeFelice's book Enzymes for Autism is a great place to start if you= haven't read it already. Also since you are in FL, this conference sounds really good to me. Best wishes, Serena 1st Annual Miami Autism Conference for Parents & practitioners On May 22nd from 8 am to 5 pm, the first „Reversing Autism ˆ One Child at a= Time‰ Conference will take place at FIU‚s Kovens Center in North Miami. World-ren= owned researchers and leading physician experts will speak on mainstream and alte= rnative therapies effective in treating the symptoms and underlying causes of Autis= m. The Keynote Speakers at the Conference will be Dr. Wakefield and Dr. Tim= othy Buie. Dr. Wakefield first gained notoriety in 1997, upon publishing his landmark = article in the Lancet Journal that first made the connection between the measles virus and= pathological intestinal findings in autistic children. He has since testified before Con= gress on three occasions. Dr. Buie, Clinical Professor and Pediatric Gastroenterol= ogist at Harvard Medical School, has independently verified many of Dr. Wakefield‚s findings= and will discuss them in addition to other gastrointestinal abnormalities in childre= n with Autism. Other speakers will include Levinson, MD, Berger, MD and Jeff = Bradstreet, MD FAAFP, three medical experts who specialize in effective biomedical trea= tments for Autism. They will discuss Autism‚s genetic and biochemical underpinnings, a= nd treatment options. Doreen Granpeesheh, PhD, an expert in Applied Behavioral Analysis,= will also present at the Conference. It is widely documented that Autism is an epidemic on the rise. Over the pa= st 10 years the Autism rates have increased from 1 in 10,000 children to 1 in 150, despite = no change in the diagnostic criteria. The physicians and scientists at the Reversing Au= tism Conference will discuss some of the latest biological, biochemical and therapeutic fin= dings that are actively leading to a reversal in Autistic symptoms in many children. Vitality Health & Wellness, a recognized center for the treatment of Aut= ism, located in North Miami, will sponsor this Conference. The pre-registered fee for the c= onference is $115 and includes lunch and parking. The event is open to the public. Pleas= e visit www.reversingautism.com or call 305-466-1100 for more information and regis= tration.
Guest guest
If this is the office that Dr. Bradstreet and Dr. Kartzinel work out of, they are good doctors. > Hello, > I am new to the group, I have an appointment to have my 3 year old > son tested for deficencies and toxins. This is all new to me and > would like your guidence on what else I should be testing him for and > what method (i.e, stool, urine, blood) I should be looking for. Guest guest
a hair test is the most useful but in reality you would do much better to steer clear of the doctors office. its just an endless tangle of tests to tell you what you arleady know which is leaky gut, biofilm dysbiosis, minerals transport disorder immune issues and low glutathione all of which are best approached through the non medical route as per this board. a hair test can indicate unsuspected toxic metals and mineral deficencies. parasite tests are also useful i think one of the major issues parents have diffculty with is the modern diet is a literal ethipoan famine which coupled with lack of skin vitamin d and cis a's and d in cream and high fluoride and low iodine is just an ongoing disaster and until these are addressed there is no hope of sustained recovery. > Hello, > I am new to the group, I have an appointment to have my 3 year old > son tested for deficencies and toxins.
