Guest guest
It's probably his body adjusting to being GF/CF, and on the enzymes. It takes awhile for the enzymes to really do there thing. Then the improvements are usually amazing. The happy child effect is wonderful. My son, 8 yrs old, is a grazer too. I give the Pep and Zyme about every 2 hours when he seems to be eating constantly. My son will take the enzymes mixed in water, juice or some foods. I usually just mix it with diluted juice. HTH Rhonda in CA

This sounds like the enzyme is addressing certain foods but now there are other foods which he is eating that he does not tolerate. For example, juice would require No-Fenol. You might want to add the Zyme Prime [sCD version does not smell as strongly] and see if that helps. Then consider adding No-Fenol. It took us months to work up to one full cap per meal, which would total three per day. If you're seeing any positive behaviors, then you may just want to lower the dose a bit and see if the negative behaviors subside. Or, you could try switching to AFP Pep, which doesn't have the papain and bromelain that many kids react to. Good luck,
Guest guest
I would also suggest greatly reducing the amount of pep you're giving him and work your way up slowly. We started at 1/8 of a cap at one meal a day and slowly worked up. My daughter didn't do well on the pep, so if starting slow and working up doesn't help then I'd recommend trying AFP. Best Wishes!
