I get those sometimes, VERY NASTY stuff! For me, it is a food or supplement intolerance. Does your daughter use enzymes? If so, try adding Pepcid AC, that works for me most of the time. Or you can try activated charcoal. I have read a few messages where people say they get those because of acid in foods. I thought maybe it's yeast overgrowth, like > thrush. However, her biochemical doctor (I'd hesitate to call him a > DAN! doctor) says it's from yeast die off. GSE is very acid, try removing that and see if it helps. >>She also developed small blisters on her hands and I'm > thinking maybe it's Hand-foot-mouth disease. I had a bout of major itchy " blisters " on my hands last night, which was because I ate a food I *knew* would cause me problems, but I have never had that particular problem. Drop the supplements, see if that helps. Dana

Guest guest
Could possibly be the mouth only version of hand, foot & mouth disease. My son had this when he was little. No other symptoms, just refused to eat and was very irritable (understandably). I don't think we treated it w/anything.
Guest guest
My grown children had something like this when they were small and I was told it was a herpes type virus. It was really awful. The doctor gave me some kind of liquid that coated the mouth and throat to sooth the pain.
