Guest guest
If indeed you have a child with Down's, there are docs around the country who do nutritional intervention. I saw a picture of a little baby with Down's - all the typical features of a Down's child. A picture of her at 12 years old showed NONE of the typical features. She was at or above grade level in all subjects except one. The gene study would still show Down's, but they did an end- run around the biological problems by using certain supplements. There is info about this on the web. I'm sure the same docs could help with the spina bifida issue as well.

Guest guest
Dr. Rimland has a full brochure on the metabolic treatttment of Down's. the Dr. who pioneered this protocol was from detroit. They shut ddown the clinic because " you can't cure genetic problems with vitamins. " A Dr. in Japan then took ther protocol and made sure that it was applied to every DS child in Japan from birth. The Dr. who started it all here was given the highest science medal anyone in that coutry can receive. " A prophet is not without honor save in his own country " One more thing.. > If indeed you have a child with Down's, there are docs around the > country who do nutritional intervention. Guest guest
Thank You. Although I hate to shortchange ph by splitting up my time, I'm afraid it has come to that. I've learned the more I learn on my own, the less at the mercy of Doctors I am.
