Guest guest
's son has overcome autism with this product and she is merely trying to get the word out about something that could help other children. Some children do not respond as quickly as her son and it takes longer, but all that try it see something positive. does not even want to sell it because she feels that would ruin her credibility in getting the word out. However, anyone who buys it automatically becomes a distributor. She refers most of the people to the distributor she got it from, so he is not in her downline. However, a few moms do not want to deal with a salesman and would rather get it from her so they can keep in touch with someone familiar with autism. has done extensive research about Xango and is trying to get a study done on Xango and autism. She should be thanked for her concern for our children instead of condemned. Nobody is pushing anybody to buy anything. Please believe this. Guest guest
If 's son overcame autism with just this product, I would say that he wasn't autistic to begin with, just severely malnourished. I think it is outrageous to make this claim to very desperate people with severely impaired children. Unconcsionable in fact! Congratulations on unearthing this worm! Probably got some business out of her spamming though, so she'd be happy. > > > >>>> I am not supposed to talk about the supplement Ethan is taking > > on this board as I bought it from an Network marketing company and > > because it was one ruffeled quite afew feathers. > > > > > > First, this comment is false as far as I know. must have been > > told this policy for another group and confused it with this group. > > is referring to Xango fruit juice which she promoted > > intensely a bit ago with a fair amount of discussion on that product, > > other fruit juice products and mangosteen products. Guest guest
Without going back and re reading old posts ad nauseum, I'm not sure that she was saying he overcame autism, she was just saying that he made good progress after starting the juice. FWIW, my mom is from Vietnam and when I showed her a picture of mangosteen, she recognized what it was instantly, and she remembered the various health conditions that it was used to treat (such as digestive problems, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, etc.) and she used to collect the peels and sell them at the markets to doctors. This was about 50 years ago, way before any xango-hype. So while I am *totally* turned off by the whole MLM and people joining lists, and selling, etc. I just want to say that it's possible that the product does have some antioxidant and antiviral benefits that could have helped her son. But because I still see her posting here and there (at least, I'm pretty sure that's the same ) about trying epsom salt baths and perhaps enzymes or other things, too, that tells me that her son is not totally " recovered " at this point. So just wanted to clarify that without going back and reading all her posts again, I'm not sure she was ever saying that he totally overcame his autism. Kristy is saying it, but I'm not sure that's really the case. As far as the fruit, I may have my mom pick up some mangosteen fruit next time she goes into Seattle and I may give it a try with my kids... I may try a non-mlm brand of mangosteen juice someday... I'm keeping an open mind about the " product " itself despite my aversion towards MLM marketing techniques. I felt that way about ambrotose for a long time-- didn't want to have anything to do with it. BUt I decided to try it--bought a container off of ebay so that I wouldn't have to deal with any marketing people contacting me all the time/spamming me, and you know, it has had a positive effect on my son's health (he is asthmatic and I am questioning whether he may have cystic fibrosis, and his fingernails were lavendar/bluish in color, which is not normal and NOT good. Using the ambrotose has restored his nails to a normal pink coloration. Stopping it, and they return to lavendar, return to ambrotose, and they return to pink). So even though these MLM companies seem to prey on people and have very questionable and disturbing tactics, the products themselves could be beneficial, to some, but probably not all. Guest guest
" Congratulations on unearthing this worm! " , it is my hope that you actually know , know what's going on with her child, and have some knowledge and personal experience with Xango. Surely you do for making such strong statements, and with such conviction. There is a danger here. If I remember correctly, the same kind of hostility and belligerence manifested in many people in another autism list when some of you had the outright audacity to think for yourselves and to try something new to help your child, i.e., enzymes. Those people were so very sure that you guys were horrible people because you stepped outside of the box. They knew nothing about enzymes, and outright refused to try them because they were so very certain that they knew " what was what. " These people and their children are the ones that are left behind, while those of you who had an open mind and heart have started down a path of hope and healing. Fear, hate, anger...open hostility, it's an ugly thing, especially when it's based on projection, not an actual understanding. However, the most important thing to understand is that when these emotions rule, you just might possibly be missing out on/rejecting something that could really help. Enzymes are but one piece of the puzzle. As for what's going on with Ethan, it is my guess that inflammation plays a large role in the ability of autistic children to function. I know that it plays one in my ability to function. When the capillaries in my head are aflame, it is difficult for me to string two coherent thoughts together. I become clumsy, and nothing pleases me. I can't even be comfortable lying down and resting; there is a jagged edge to everything. I have found Xango to be an excellent anti-inflammatory; once the inflammation is gone, my ability to function noticeably improves, as does my mood. I believe that this might be what's going on with Ethan; just like the Benadryl appears to have helped others' children. At this point in the space-time continuum, I do not think that just addressing the symptom, i.e., the inflammation, is the answer. I think that it's important to determine what is causing the inflammation, e.g., GI tract dysfunction, heavy metals, etc., and address that. However, the anti-inflammatory actions of Xango can provide some much-needed relief for autistic children and their parents. Perhaps there is a mom out there who will not have to spend yet one more sleepless and weary night staying up with her child who is too hyper and aggravated from the inflammation taking place in their little body to go to sleep. I have yet to see one negative statement from anyone who has actually tried Xango. I've seen a lot of speculative accusations thrown at , and though I know that it will probably do little good, I'm going to repeat: She is not dishonest and unscrupulous. She is just young and does not know how to deal well in the environment of the internet. And she has not yet learned when to back off and let it be. But she will. If enough of you guys keep beating her up, calling her things like " worm, " she'll learn. Carol Lively
Guest guest
Carol, I am on a few autism lists and I have been met with the same hostility that you speak of whenever diet and enzymes are mentioned. I have gotten into many heated arguments in the past but now I just let it go. I feel fortunate to have a doctor who is behind me all the way. I have spoken with one mother whose son would benefit greatly from diet and enzymes but she feels that it's all a crock of poo poo and she knows what to do and what not to do. I was highly offended when she referred to my doc as a crackpot, by you know something....ignorance is bliss. I don't know who sent me the invitation to join this group but I'm glad they did. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! All kid's are gifted; some just open their packages earlier than others. -- Carr RE: ****Xango MLM /Please Read " Congratulations on unearthing this worm!
