Guest guest
When my son is hungry all the time, it means hypoglycemia and/or yeast, but mostly hypoglycemia. Discovering my son did have hypoglycemia (despite my pediatrician telling me he did not) was a big breakthrough for us. Most people feel chromium helps hypoglycemia, but it made my son hyper. I used vanadium instead, but the main thing that stablizes his hypoglycemia is to feed bits of protein at every meal, have one snack a day that is only protein, and to feed a few bites of protein before any food that's high on the glycemic index. There was a book I read about hypoglycemia that helped me tremendously, but I can't remember the name, as this was three years ago, sorry. Just my thoughts, Debbie
Guest guest
How long has this been going on and how long have you been doing enzymes? It could be part of adjustment behavior if you just started enzymes. But if not, then it is very likely something else. Any other new supplements? Two of my kids did this when they were eating foods or supplements that they did not tolerate, or when they had yeast issues. Dana
Guest guest
Pfeiffer's Metabolic Management dietary supplement contains zinc picolinate. I give him about 25 mg. This is based on pfeiffer's advice. My son weighs about 28 lbs. >

My son wanted to eat all the time, when he was eating foods or supplements not tolerated, and when he had a yeast overgrowth issue. As biomedical progressed, he started wanting to eat more, because his body was craving nutrition that it needed. Do the enzymes you use, contain papain/bromelain? Some children do not tolerate those ingredients. Dana
Guest guest
It looks like yeast. My son used to snack in between meals all the time and would get very aggressive if it is not available on time. I do see he has been skipping his morning snack after we started enzymes and have been treating his virus with OLE and yeast with GSE, Vit C and Biotin. I really want him to skip his morning snack as this was causing grief in school. take care, Anandhi --- rhettro8 <rhettro8@...> wrote: > > > My 7 yr old son, Ethan has been on the SCD diet > since April. > Previously, he was GF/CF since 3 yrs old.
