You might try a different enzyme. A lot of people here find that Peptizyde

or AFP Peptizyde (for gluten and casein and soy) and Zyme Prime (a broad

spectrum enzyme) are great.and then No-Fenol added to that for kids

w/intolerances to foods high in phenols. My daughter started with a

different enzyme and it was great in many ways, but since we switched to

Houston products, there isn't a speck of anything undigested in her stool -

though we did have tough adjustment period for a few weeks with a " poop

regression " while we were transitioning.

undigested food in stool STILL!!! Will this ever end?!!!

Hi!

My son has been on therabiotic probiotics, a Simlase complete

enzyme, cod liver oil, magnesium, and vitamin C for over a month

now. I am STILL seeing food undigested in his stool. He also was

on a round of diflucan and septra to deal with the bad bacteria and

yeast about a month ago, which are obviously still present according

to his full OATS test. He also always seems to have a diaper rash

(red around anus area) most of the time. He has been casein-free

for 15 months and gluten-free for almost 7 months. WHAT ELSE CAN I

DO or is this something that won't be resolved? What has worked for

others with malabsorption issues and other common problems with

children on the spectrum? HELP!!!!

Please don't get mad if I say the road to recovery is long and never

the same for 2 children so figuring things out is hard. what are

the natural agent that the bacteria will be controlled with

according to the test results these worked best for my child with

small dose every 3 or for hours over the weekend and more spread out

during school days.

You seem to be missing some supplements like amino acids, and

calcium with the magnesium.

You need to do some digging around on the acid and alkalinity of

stool and urine and the gut in general

Hi Sheryl,

From my experience, animal enzymes are much better than plant enzymes

in improving the " look " of stools. They are also considerably cheaper.

On the other hand, animal enzymes could cause side effects, whereas

plant enzymes do not.

For my kids, this would have meant they did not tolerate those foods.

You can try using different enzymes [i used all three HNI enzymes] or

remove the foods you find undigested. For my kids, the HNI enzymes

did not address all foods, so I did have to remove a few. I don't

know which foods the Simlase enzyme is supposed to address, but you

might want to start by using enzymes targeted to the foods you are

finding undigested, see if that helps.
