Pfeiffer Treatment Center has a pharmacy or compounding place that sells this syrups for adding things too. They have like a dozen different flavors including marshmellow that you can buy. Guest guest
WOW!!!!! Thanks so much, its a bank holiday here, I'll get onto this tomorrow.I'll post here on my progress and for other parents on the other two boards I belong to. Again, you are so awesome - its a small thing in some people's eyes but our kids have enough to cope with as it is without putting evil tasting/smelling stuff down them if we don't have to! My rule is, if I can't bear it, why should he? LOL Eileen and xxx PS we're doing well on the enzymes, told me a little fib yesterday - I went into the kitchen and silently cheered! Also my 30 year old friend and I discovered that she probably has leaky gut, and she's ordered the enzymes too! She has suffered all her life without understanding why. jornmatt <kjorn@...> wrote: >>>> PS I wish someone would invent a safe no adds syrup we could add stuff to! Guest guest
Are you pretty sure the Pfeiffer ones are free of artificial additives? I know how hard it is to make a liquid that is, so guess I was just concerned about this. Are the flavorings all natural? What do they use to sweeten? If anyone has an ingredients list, that would be great to post. I'm so concerned about not putting more junk in their bodies! I used to use - get ready - strawberry sundae syrup, to suspend powders in, in the first year or so that I gave my guy supplements, and was always so concerned about him getting all that sugar, coloring, etc. and rightly so, but I just didn't know how to get it in any other way. Then we used natural fruit syrup, but still, all that sugar!! I agree that the Pfeiffer stuff could be an important tool, if it's 'clean' enough. Guest guest
I use the xylitol syrup (not sure if the spelling is correct). One of the pharmacists at Pfeiffer told me, that you can make your own by mixing xylitol, which you can purchase at a health food store, with water. This sweetens it and takes away the bitterness of the supplement. They also offer flavored but I do not know what the indgredients are in the flavorings. Hope this helps,.
