i really have read all of the posts re yeast and bacteria, thinking

that it has all been covered and i can attack j's problems head on...

i gave him yeastaid for 7 days, on day 8 his poop was, so sorry,

perfect consistancy and not absolutely VILE as before. good thing

because he was reacting to the banana, etc and i needed to stop it

anyway.

on day 9 his poops were yellow and so very soft, but hardly any

smell.

a few days later i tried oil of oregano, they became more yellow,

softer and now vile again. he reacted to the oil of oregano, so i

haven't given it to him again. reflux, it's the last thing i want to

stir up.

and today they smelled of mucous. horrible, horrible smell.

he hasn't had a break from these soft stools(3 a day) in almost 2

weeks and even though he has been a huge eater in the past, this last

week he ate hardly anything and has dropped weight.

so, when i give him these things, should i expect things to get worse

before they get better... i mean, should he have really loose stools

and should i keep giving him the OoO anyway until it turns around?

or is this bacteria? he has had c.dif in the past and his stools

have had that VILE smell since then. i have OLE and was planning to

use it if necessary.

i am afraid to use anything else, but i need to stop this diarrhea.

i don't want to do anything to mess up his digestive track even worse

than it is now.

what next?

thanks so much
