Guest guest
--Thanks so much for your reply. I will reduce the no-fenol. Today at daycare my son was not following directions, running off the playground, and could/would not sit in circle due to screaming. I have noticed at home it is MUCH harder to get his attention. We have an ABA/VB program. He still answers questions, but after much redirection, and now is echoing back the question, unless we totally can get his full attention. But like I said, his language seems to really be getting better. For example when we were driving in the car, he commented on the trees outside, and is using 4 word sentences more and more. It's interesting you mention the die off with the no-fenol, because my son has never been treated for yeast. I have strongly suspected he has a yeast problem!! I made some of the epsom salt lotion you suggested in your book, and put it on my son before bed. Will the calming effects last into the next day? Or should I put it on again in the morning, or only in the morning? The chewables aren't bad. I tried one, they taste somewhat like a bad sweetart, and this is probably why my son will eat them (he hardly ever gets candy). I think I will wait on the PCA-RX until the enzymes are underway. Thanks so much for all your help!! I don't know where we would be without these groups and people like you!! It helps me to keep striving for more ways to help my son. Will the calming effects last into the next day? I hear that the sulfate will last 4 to 9 hours in the system. But this doesn't really tell you if the 'reaction' will last longer or be tamed for longer. Just try it a few different ways until you find what works best for your son. If he does better with more, put more. If less is better, use less. I keep the lotion by the telephone on the desk, or below the microwave. That way it is handy and can apply it several times a day as I walk by. >>>>The chewables aren't bad. I tried one, they taste somewhat like a bad sweetart, That is my opinion as well. Probably the papain is giving it the slighly off taste. But it is one of the best tasting chewable supplements I have had. .
Guest guest
The PCA-Rx, in our case, helped the enzymes work more effectively (by using less and still seeing results). I have to give more enzymes when he is off the spray. I just don't think my son can detox on his own and that causes a variety of issues for him. But I know he was exposed to high levels of lead over a long period of time. Good Luck! > > >>>His language is noticably improved--so I don't want to stop the > > enzymes. > > > > This is a very good sign.
