Guest guest
Terri, I have not done it myself or with my son. But I do know of local family that has two low functioning girls that actually owned a 1atmo chamber in their home and did not have much results with that. They then decided to try a local business which had a chamber that went to 1.5 atmo and they had amazing results with their girls in speech and motor function. I have not gotten that far to start looking into it myself - but what i understand is the importance of 1.5 atmoshpheres with O2. Here is a link for a directory of all the business that offer services. http://www.uhms.org/Chambers/CHAMBER%20DIR%20AS%20OF%207-04.pdf Here is the link about how/shy it works - dealing with how tissue gets o2: http://www.oxytank.com/how.htm Nick HBOT - who's done it already? Guest guest
Terri, Ping me on this next month. one of the mom's who is extremely dedicated to all of this and runs that monthly meeting I was talking about down here, last month was just getting ready to embark on this path. So I'm thinking by next month she might have some good info. Or if you would like, I'm sure she has a bunch of research stuff. She is one of those research hound types. Says she has often spent hours down at the hospitals reading through records and documents and all. Definitely makes sense, and doesn't seem to be invasive (as long as your child is OK in close quarters.) But I guess the expense is painful. Thanks, Kari HBOT - who's done it already?
