Guest guest
Give him 3-4 weeks and things should settle down As long as you are seeing some good stuff with the odd/bad stuff then it sually settles down. Great news on the empathy - it was a long time coming with Sam but worth waiting for! Mandi in UK On enzymes 2 1/2 weeks. shows empathy also, which is a good thing. Guest guest
Hi: To update and maybe get some input-I was so nervous last night about the reactions and input I got I was checking on while he was sleeping. Didnt sleep too well to say the least. I decided to reduce the PEP and PZ to 1 each per meal and not use the Candex or NF until the reactions subside. In the readings I have I thought I was supposed to target the larger meals with more of the enzymes. Trial and error I suppose but I am getting a little nervous. Mind you I am not a nervous anxious mother. Have alot on my mind with transitioning next year also so when I put my head on the pillow my brain start to wander and I guess the transition is going to be very hard on me too. Anyway-This morning he was again quite happy and giddy. School he was agitated and he came home growling and angry and asked me for a hug only to start tighly squeesing my wrists in anger. His face turned beat red, he was so mad. He turned into a different person while eating dinner very happy and compliant this was about 10 minutes after the angry behaviour. I tend to get a bit grumpy when I am hungry myself and although I have seen him in this state he has not made the switch so quickly. Dr.Jekyl and Mr Hyde effect I would have to say. I was not seeing any real problem behaviours and I suppose it should be telling me that something is going on in his gut. By the way I read a post regarding white filled pimples. He develop one of these on his lower eye lid. Just there overnight and hasnt grown in size or burst and it doesnt seem to bother him. I hope you dont mind me posting these updates as not working with a doctor and going into this blind so to speak makes me a little nervous. As I said we are going to Pfeiffer in February and I will feel better when some tests are run to see what we are dealing with. seems to fit into all the posts and I only wish I knew of these things when he was younger. Many things I have tried but never was it brought up by the " Doctors " to do other things in combination with these. Ex: Nystatin, Secretin, Allergy shots and Rotation Diet, Super NuThera. Of course he is 20 and many things have changed since he was young. Thanks for listening and any input of course is always welcome. Guest guest
>>Anyway-This morning he was again quite happy and > giddy. If you would characterize it as OVERLY happy, like too giggly, that would have meant phenol intolerance and/or yeast overgrowth for my son http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm School he was agitated and he came home growling and angry > and asked me for a hug only to start tighly squeesing my wrists in > anger. His face turned beat red, he was so mad. This sounds like there is something at school that he does not like. Maybe a food or supply that does not agree with him, carpet cleaner, teacher's perfume, someone treating him badly, something like that. He turned into a > different person while eating dinner very happy and compliant this > was about 10 minutes after the angry behaviour. This might mean hypoglycemia. Try giving him a high protein snack to eat at school, plus a snack when he gets home. >>By the way I read a post regarding white > filled pimples. He develop one of these on his lower eye lid. Guest guest
yes he was iverly happy. What should I do. I dropped everyting but the pep & pz becauseof aggression. He's better but wont take much to set him off. He is still happy silly but also angry, growling (much better though). Should I put back No Feno or Candex and of course I received the culturelle. Dont know what to do. Im not going to start any vitamins/minerals for a few more weeks which would bring him to 5 weeks on enzmes. Sorry my computer is down and I am using my daughters laptop and I just cant type on it. He seems hyper for him. He had become a real couch potatoe. Anyway doing alot of laughing and sing songing to himself. Has always been a tooth grinder. You should see his teeth. For 20 yrs old they look like baby teeth. He had drooled for years not much over the past few but quite alot this past week. BM's frequency much increased (THank GOd) Kind of a mixture formed and watery, sometimes very smelly, other times not. Any help would be appreciated.
