Guest guest
I started my son on Zyme Prime last week and AFP Peptizyde today. I was wondering how much of each most of you usually give your children. Do you give it for meals and snacks? What if your child snacks a lot during the day? It seems that if I give one cap of each at all meals and snacks that I will soon be in the poor house. Especially since he likes to have frequent small meals. Any suggestions? Thanks, Beth
Guest guest
The enzymes stay in the stomach with the food they're eaten with and the food stays in the stomach for about 90 minutes, so if you have a snack within 90 minutes of a meal, you shouldn't need to give more enzymes. This may vary per person and on the size of the meals and snacks in relation to the amount of enzymes given initially. I give an AFP Pep, a No Fenol and a Zyme Prime with every meal. I give No Fenol with all juice. I follow the 90 minute rule re: snacks. -KIM Question for those using Houston Pep and Zyme Prime I started my son on Zyme Prime last week and AFP Peptizyde today. Guest guest
We are in the poor house, but it's a happy house. Except at the moment when I'm tearing my hair out trying to find the culprit of our recent regression. But, the meltdowns come every two hours, and last 1/2 hour or so. So, we get to breath. We don't feel like we're drowning in meltdowns any more, and I know that's due to the enzymes. I gave 1/2 to 1 capsule with each meal, about half that amount for snacks. >>What if your child > snacks a lot during the day? I do not allow my kids to snack a lot during the day, but if they did, I would give about 1/4 to 1/2 capsule enzyme before each snack, if they were more than about 60-90 minutes apart. You can also dissolve the enzymes into juice and keep it in the refrigerator. It will last about 4 hours this way. Have him take a drink of the juice before eating anything. Good luck.
