Stumped -Zyme Prime from Lypo

Hi:

I am new to AFP Pep and Zyme Prime but not to enzymes. Until recently my

daughter was taking Enzymedica's Lypo. She is also GFCF (we have only been

at 100% for about 2 weeks - but had regular formed stools before we got GFCF

- as long as she had the Lypo).

First I tried the AFP Pep by itself. She got VERY constipated and went from

Monday night until Friday afternoon before having a very loose, yellow,

messy bowel movement (that was her longest stretch EVER - even pre enzymes

altogether and pre GFCF).

Mid-week and before " the poop " , on the advice of people here, I backed off

of the AFP Pep and went to the Zyme Prime by itself. She's been getting

almost a full capsule w/meals.

Today (24 hours after the first) she had another yellow, soft poop. I

expected the softness as a transition phase so that's no big deal.

What I DID NOT expect was the undigested bits of food (avocado, tomato) in

the stool - it makes me feel like we are back to square one. I have been

seeing formed, flushable, terrific stools for MONTHS - until this week.

Do I stick with Zyme Prime? Is this part of a normal transition? Or could

the Lypo have been catching something the Zyme Prime isn't catching? In

general the Zyme Prime has " more " of what Lypo has and a few other extra

benefits.except when it comes to Lipase.

Thanks

Avocado and tomato require No-Fenol for many kids.

My son did not tolerate those foods, even with Zyme Prime and No-Fenol.

Yeah but she tolerated them perfectly BEFORE the Zyme Prime and AFP- at

least with the Lypo. Could the new enzymes be impacting her acceptance of

these foods (and again I am seeing it in stool not in behavior)? She really

hasn't shown signs of phenol issues so far. Avocado is the " only " fruit she

will eat and has been for awhile; and she gets tomatoes in the red sauce she

eats every day w/her rice pasta (in which I hide pureed vegetables and meat

as well - but again nothing " new " since the start of new enzymes)

Try adding a little Lypo in with the ZP and AFP, see if that handles

these foods. If it does, then she needs more of that one enzyme that

is a higher quantity in the Lypo.

Not sure I understand your question, but enzymes can make people lose

cravings for foods, expand their diet, and otherwise impact

" acceptance " [or desire] to eat the old foods.
