Guest guest
i keep posting about scd and yeast. what r u giving in the way of zinc? its all in the detail............ other minerals and vitmains.............like what. tmg is a strong stimulant/brain sugar metaboliser , at the doses usually recommended a marine would burn out. personally i don't like these mid chain metabolic supplements. scd has to be modifyed to to work. do you have a scan of the hair test. lauricidn has problems i dispute healthy foods until the innate immune system is on deck................. > I am very confused and at wit's end. Not sure what is that supplement, but you can try eliminating the bacteria. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Ammonia smell in urine can also be improperly digested protein, so consider enzymes if you don't already use them. > thought " Wow! My kids did not tolerate TMG and I almost took one of them to the hospital. Try DMG. You can also consider adding B12 and extra folic acid. I will get major nasty migraines from certain foods, and from yeast. > We have been SCD since November, limited fruit. We also do > Lauricidin, enzymes, including Peptizyde between meals, various > vitamins and minerals. Lauricidin causes viral die off which for all my kids causes MAJOR yeast episodes. I have to give a LOT of GSE with EACH dose of Lauricidin just to keep the yeast down. Certain vitamins can also cause head banging. > I got the recent OAT back today. Yes, you need a more aggressive yeast protocol. > As a bit of a background, Gibson is almost 3 years. He had a dramatic > regression at 23 months (after last DPT) after being extremely verbal. This probably means he has a lot of virus, which is dying off and causing a lot of yeast. >>We were planning on starting > B-12 shots soon. High doses of B12 cause my #3 to bang his head. I don't know the dose of the Kirkman capsules, but you might want to start by giving him 1-2 capsules with each dose of Lauricidin, see if that helps. > If I get rid of yeast will bacteria come back? Guest guest
Thanks Dana, This is very helpful. Why do you think viruses are a big issue for him? Are you talking about vaccine viruses? Also, I did not know that viral die-off fed yeast. How long does viral die-off last? Hope > > The day before we did his second OAT test he seemed happy and hardly > > cried for a day and a half. Guest guest
there seem to be issues with my posting on this board so am switching to my own board. i have posted a reply there who_knows/ > > > > > > i keep posting about scd and yeast. > Do you think SCD is bad for yeast? Guest guest
>>i keep posting about scd and yeast. Sorry , but I didn't remember seeing you say that SCD caused yeast before or maybe I just don't remember what I read anymore. Is that what you are saying? It would make some sense to me as I feel that the 1 month of SCD I did with my son messed up some balance in my gut. Now I'm having to try to address it. Guest guest
> This is very helpful. Why do you think viruses are a big issue for > him? Because it looks like Lauricidin is causing major yeast, and for my son with that problem, viruses are a big issue. >>Are you talking about vaccine viruses? Yes >> Also, I did not know > that viral die-off fed yeast. Neither do most of the " medical-types " that I have conversed with. But it is a common report by parents, especially with use of Lauricidin. >>How long does viral die-off last? I don't know. For one of my kids, looks like about 2 months, altho I only have her on one pellet of Lauricidin per day and her virus issue was relatively mild. For another, he is going on 4 months with still minor lingering issues. I give him 5 pellets per day altho today I will increase it to 8 and see what happens. For my #2 with the most issues, he is on one scoop of Lauricidin 3x per day. It has been 4 months and yesterday I was able to drop the OLE and he improved [he had started regressing, which is generally his sign that he no longer needs a supplement]. So whatever virus the OLE was addressing must be gone now. He still needs the Lauricidin. Dana
Guest guest
yeah scd needs cream, optizinc and molybdenum and plain whey if tolerated. no nut flours theres so many ways that scd seems to be done its hard to comment. theres the deep fried squash school, the goat yoghurt school, the 'ten hours of angst over a micron of illegals school'......... yeah its odd what makes a vibe in a post and you remember........ small amounts of optizinc after every meal can right the stomach quickly. candex, oreganol also for yeast. banana passionfruit crunching the seeds as you eat also helps. > >>i keep posting about scd and yeast. > > Sorry , but I didn't remember seeing you say that SCD caused yeast > before or maybe I just don't remember what I read anymore. > > Is that what you are saying?
