Guest guest
For the enzymes, I would go with Houston. Probiotics are trial and error on which suits your child. I have heard good things about Therabiotic complete but haven;t tried it myself. We use CP1 and BioKult _www.customprobiotics.com_ (http://www.customprobiotics.com) _www.bio-kult.com_ (http://www.bio-kult.com) HTH Mandi in UK I recently had a phone consult with a DAN doctor that suggested the following enzyme and probiotic (enzyme is Simalase Jr. by Tyler; probiotic is Therabiotic complete) for my son? Has anyone tried them and what are your views on them? Also
Guest guest
For enzymes the best bet is Houstons to try first. My second choice is Enzymedica, particularly if you have 'special needs' concerning enzymes (like reactions to any fillers or some condition where a specialty enzymes may be more helpful). Thropps makes a good broad-spectrum too (Ultra-zyme Plus). Simalase Jr. by Tyler is an older one that that doctors are familiar with but the ones listed above have given better results by people posting here. Does your insurance cover the Similase or other enzymes at all? For probiotics, this varies by person and need. One of my sons did really well with Culturelle for bacteria and colon problems. www.vrp.com or www.vitacost.com have the best prices. There is also Florajen which I get at my pharmacist - www.florajen.com. And Klaire Labs long-time specialty has been probiotics- I haven't tried the newer one called Therabiotic you mentioned, but have read good reports on it. And one that is relatively new and getting great reviews was Thera-lac from www.theralac.com. .
Guest guest
I know this message is a few days old (I'm really far behind) but I think they have the powder version in stock. My son has been doing so well with the 3 enzymes I'd be a nervous wreck if we ran out! Re: need advice on enzymes and probiotic-which brand is best? For the enzymes, I would go with Houston.
