Guest guest
My son has trouble socially with other children. He is 6 years old. We had him evaluated by a neuro-developmental pediatrician and he was not classified. I still think he may have very mild Aspergers. He doesn't have trouble making friends, he has trouble keeping friends. He was having trouble touching other kids too much which would make them pull away. He also wouldn't stop when they asked him to. We've started OT and Epsom salt soaks and those problems are almost entirely gone. I figured his problems were solved. Now I see he just annoys other kids. Sometimes it seems like he does things just to annoy them. I'm always hearing " your not my friend anymore! " He really wants friends but he doesn't know how to go aboult being a good friend. Could enzymes help with something like this? He doesn't really have much sensory trouble anymore. Can enzymes help someone's personality, or am I looking for miracles? I'm kind of nervous to try something, since his sensory trouble has gotten better. If he has a bad reaction to the enzymes do kids go back to how they started once you've stopped them? He has always had dark circles under his eyes. His poop is pretty OK, it's kind of brownish-yellow and he occasionally has diarrhea. The soles of his feet were scaly and cracked (yeast? I asked his doctor if this was athletes foot and she said kids this age don't get athletes foot). Since the epsom salt soaks his feet are 90% better. I was thinking about doing testing at Great Plains labs, can they check for phenol intolerance? He doesn't have trouble with Gluten or casien because his better days are days he eats macaroni and cheese, bagels, pizza etc. Would Zyme Prime or Peptizyde be worth trying or do you think No-fenol alone would be OK? Thanks for your help, Liz
