Guest guest
the trouble with staph is it forms spores when it stressed by poisons trying to kill it an on deck immune system can handle it and thats really the way to go. she has to get on the net to get up to speed with whats necessary like my skin vitamin d page for instance but people prefer to die before reading it. i should charge and mlm it and no doubt the queues would stretch across the pacific > I friend of mine has a child who is starting to develop an external staff infection. She does realize this is potentially very serious, and last year this child also had a staff infection for which she was given a strong antibiotic. Wondering if maybe the bacteria was never really killed off, and now for some reason it's tripped up again? Since last year she has discovered another " problem " child has Asperger and through dietary and supplemental changes she has substantially reduced the problem for her entire famiy. Needless to say, all of this has really changed her outlook on the use of antibiotics. She is trying to see if she can prevent/reverse the staff infection from progressing. If anyone has any ideas of something that might help please let me know. > Thanks, > Kari > >

I haven't had a chance to look the site over as much as I would like and I don't know how trustworthy the information from Westin-Price is. But I know if I don't share it now, I won't remember later. Guest guest
weston price... His information seems reliable if your talking about his actual book and research. I don't know much about the organization itself, as he is dead. I read his book and have been over his site, and as far as nutrition has it...I think he's on the ball. His remineralization of tooth enamel works. We have been using the high vitamin cod liver oil for almost two years and high vitamin butter. My kids teeth got whiter and stronger. We also use coconut oil..it's awesome. I use it on my skin, for the baby, it helped stabilize her gut and keep yeast away, I cook with it. I make the nutritious broths too for bone building in children. So far, anything I have tried from his work has been worthy. Staph..yeah raw honey or grapefruit seed extract liquid (wash the affected area with it), also maybe tea tree oil > > > > What is safer to use for a staph infection rather than using a high > sulfer antiobotic? > > > > > If it's just a skin infection, you might try Manuka Honey: > http://tahilla.typepad.com/mrsawatch/wounds_honey/index.html > > There is also this from an old email of mine on another list (because > MRSA is a serious issue for people with cystic fibrosis): > > There just happens to be an article called " More Good News about > Coconut Oil " > http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/coconut-antimicrobial.html > It indicates that studies on coconut oil, other medium chain > triglycerides and oregano oil show promise for treating MRSA. > > I haven't had a chance to look the site over as much as I would like > and I don't know how trustworthy the information from Westin-Price is. > But I know if I don't share it now, I won't remember later. Guest guest
> > What is safer to use for a staph infection rather than using a high sulfer antiobotic? > Um, I was tempted to give a sorta-flippant-but-also-serious answer listing some things that are used to boost immunity -- but I just looked up staph infections on wikipedia and it seems a staph infection could be anything from a pimple to food poisoning to pneumonia or worse. So, um, " safer " would depend on how sick you are (or how sick whoever has the staph infection is). That is, it depends on whether possibly continuing to be sick is more of a problem than taking antibiotics. But you already knew that, right? If you have an infected pimple you could use hydrogen peroxide or ozonated olive oil to get rid of the infection. Or you could use an antibiotic ointment. If you have food poisoning, you can take activated charcoal powder. If you have a general infection (like pneumonia or the flu?) you can consider some things that will increase/activate your immunity, like: --inducing fever/sweating (see the book " The Herbs of Life " by Tierra for directions on how to do this) --taking echinacea, astragalus (sp?), etc. --getting accupunture --consulting an herbalist who can give you more personalized suggestions (This could be an herbalist who uses Western herbs or who uses Traditional Chinese Medicine, or both....) This is not meant in any way to be a complete list -- it's what came to mind.... good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
when you say " the high vitamin, cod liver oil " ... do you mean just regular cod liver oil or does it say " high vitamin " on it? Guest guest
> What is safer to use for a staph infection rather than using a high sulfer antiobotic? Staph is a bacteria, and I used OLE with good success for bad bacteria problems. Dana

Guest guest
Last night before I went to bed I crushed up some garlic and mixed it with a small amount of cayenne powder. I rubbed it on my face and let it sit several minutes. I washed it off, then put the juice on and left it on overnight. I could tell a difference overnight and it drew a lot of the boil to the top and overall it had shrunk a little bit. Tonight I am going to try your grapefruit seed extract idea. Thanks! > > > weston price... > > His information seems reliable if your talking about > his actual book > > and research. I don't know much about the > organization itself, as he > > is dead.
