Guest guest
My children and I are doing great with the enzyme capsules but not when we take the new enzyme powder. Has anyone else experienced this? I thought the powder was what was inside the capsules, but for some reason, with the powder, my 3 year old son cries a lot and can't go to sleep well (usually, he never has problems going to sleep and never had problems with the capsules)...On the powder, my daughter and I get a little more restless throughout the day and can't go to sleep easily at night as we normally can. Any ideas why we're reacting to something in the powder? We went back to the capsules, and everything is back to normal, but would like to understand what is different in the powder. Guest guest
Gretchen, We introduced the NF in powder a couple weeks ago but haven't tried the pep yet. It took a couple days to get the hang of it and she did have some sort of " adjustment " period as I could never get it right on the line. But after those couple days, everything went back to normal, (well, normal for HER) and we've not had a problem since. In fact, I now give her just a " scootch " over the 1/4 line. What I love about this powder stuff is that it blends sooo much easier. However, we're still using the pep caps and they're much harder to break down. When we run out, I'll try the powder. One last thing, with the powder, I notice I have to keep my head WAY back or I'm inhaling the stuff which tends to aggravate my throat. Hope this helped. I can't seem to get away from enhaling some of the powder since it flies through the air so easily. I'll need to wait until people are not coming over for a week or two to get through another adjustment period...it's just good to hear that the powder will work like the capsules after awhile. The powder is so much easier than opening up all the capsules. Thank you for the responses everyone! Gretchen
Guest guest
Could be the increase. The new formulation, offered in the bulk form allows for mis-dosing. The new formulation actually has more of the different components ( should actually work better), so it could be between measuring inaccuracies, and more potent product, that maybe you were getting too much? I've decided to go back to old formulations and capsule form for these reasons, plus we need the papain and bromelain. I haven't called to order our April shipment yet, but I wonder if the old formulations are offered in bulk form. Anyone ordered yet? Enzyme powder vs capsules...Has anyone had different results? > My children and I are doing great with the enzyme capsules but not > when we take the new enzyme powder.
