If the cold is accompanied by fever, then yes, the fever might be fighting a viral issue so she is better when she is sick. Guest guest
, yes, both my kids are much " better " when they are sick, although Ethan has improved enough so that I don't " see " this anymore. We had also used lauricidin last summer and so maybe that helped, along with homeopathy, like you are mentioning. If she's regressed with her remedy, doesn't the practitioner have anything to give her--I thought I read that by giving a lower dose of the same remedy that it will negate the first one?? Why don't you ask. It doesn't seem right to wait that long. W > She has regressed since the homeopathy remedy. I can not wait till > the next one on April 7. Guest guest
What happens during the cold? Does the cold jump start the immune system and then the immune system can better fight existing viruses such as measles?? Does the homeopathy help to jump start the immune system too so it can fight these viruses? What have you used with Ethan to get him better? Do you recommend Lauricidin? I was thinking of OLE? > > She has regressed since the homeopathy remedy. I can not wait till > > the next one on April 7. Margaret has a cold and she is SOOO ON darn > > near perfect. Guest guest
HI -- after seeing Dana's use of OLE, I would say start the OLE and see what you think. Lauricidin is good, but it is also more expensive than OLE and if you get success with OLE then why not just stay with that, kwim? I am not sure exactly what happens when they are sick... used to be that was the time that Ethan's eye contact would get normal, and his language would be improved (less " nonstop " talking about subjects). For my dd, she would hit major milestones during her sick times-- language and physical (gross/fine) milestones. If you are seeing the regression with the remedy, I am thinking it may be too strong of a potency, or it is causing the body to release toxins faster than it can excrete them perhaps. I have only seen a regression for Ethan with homeopathy once when I pulled out a remedy that had been rx'd for him before, and I thought he should have it again. It brought about the exact symptoms that we had been trying to get rid of. So the naturopath cleared the remedy with naet/bioset type of techniques and then rx'd a different remedy. It did calm him down right away. WE've used several different remedies with him-- we've done the hepB vaccine in combination with sulfur... he's done argentum nitricum (or is it argenticum nitrum) for some obsessive types of things... menyanthes for making facial grimaces and noises. I can't think of the others off the top of my head. BUt I did find the remedies helpful, for sure. With the HepB and sulfur combination we were told to give it for three days on, three off, repeat three more times. On day one of each of the rounds, his skin got flushed, the veins in his neck/body darkened and were much more visible from a distance, and his eye contact got better and he had foul smelling diarrhea that same day. Now, if this hadn't happened on every single first day of those rounds, then I would have thought it was a stomach bug, but because it DID happen on day one each time, I knew it was related to the remedy itself and not coincidental. After that, his skin stayed " normal " tone (meaning, not pale and dark circles) for a LONG time. About a year, I think. W > What happens during the cold? Guest guest
> I am curious about your experience with Lauricidin. Why have you > decided to try it again? It is rather a long story. But I decided to try it again because OLE does not appear to address ALL my kids' virus issues. My #2 is improving quite a bit with 2 pellets 3x per day [plus OLE], and #3's skin rash is going away with 2 pellets 1x per day [plus OLE]. I am still unclear on #4, because giving her 1 pellet per day [or giving her OLE] will cause the eye goop to come back, and she seems to do best with just vitamin A. But I give her 1 pellet every few days or so. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, Maybe the child that gets eye goop is " gooping " due to toxins coming out of her. I think it sounds like die-off to me. I think your on to something if the lauricidin is working. Also, does this child by any chance wear glasses? If so, maybe a virus is in the area of the eye coming out. I think it sounds like die-off to me. I think your on to something if > the lauricidin is working. Yes, this is why I give her a pellet every few days. The problem is that when her eye is goopy, it also turns outward, and she complains that she can't see out of it. I wipe the goop out, but she still says she can't see out of it. I don't like that, so I don't give the Lauricidin every day. But yesterday I gave her a pellet, and she did not have as much goop, and the eye did not turn as much, and she did not complain about not being able to see, so maybe things are doing better now. >Also, does this child by any chance wear > glasses? If so, maybe a virus is in the area of the eye coming out. I do believe it is a virus in her eye area, but she does not wear glasses. Thanks for the ideas. Dana
