Has anyone had any dealings with this company? I just heard about it

from my son's doctor (naturopath). I just wanted to get feedback if

anyone has used their products.

Thanks

VickiB,

I never heard of it but just took a look. It looks like all the

products have the same ingredients in the same dosages. What's the

difference?

I read a little on the RNA therapy and it seems very experimental and

still under initial investigation. I am also more cautious about any

of the gene stuff because one gene can impact several different

mechanisms in the body, so you might end up with a side effect you

didn't plan on. Or one mechanism may be 'controlled' by several

different genes. Could be DNA or RNA. And with cell replication being

what it is, you don't know how far something may go.

As the site said, once you knockout a gene, that's that. You can't go

backwards. I would need to read a lot lot lot more about this before

my comfortable level was up enough for me to consider it personally.

I posed the same question to the ABMD group and got this

reply...

Dr. Gordon is working with Dr. Amy Yasko on RNA based products for

children with autism. A friend of mine has had great success with

her products...They just did a congerence in Boston. There are tapes

of the conference available, and also a book that outlines the

protocol. It deals with gut, viruses etc. Products are available...

I do not think it is cheap!!

There is a parents group that discusses her protocol:

dr_amy_parents

Also there is another site with some of Amy's

papers...holistichealth.com

I hope this helps.
