What do you make of the fact that she is completely asymptomatic -- very social and emotionally connected (more than I am!), cognitively zipping along etc -- but meets the counting rules with lead just touching yellow among other things? As an infant she was kind of watchful and not terribly responsive, only partly successful nurser, but just before she turned 2 she really woke up and got very lively. Guest guest Posted March 23, 2004 Report Share Posted March 23, 2004 sorry about the lead, actually i trimmed a door today with lead paint on so i hope i didn't breathe the saw dust in. autistic spectrum is an adaptation favouring greater intelligence you just have to look at the adaptation and see the compromises and you will then understand.
