Guest guest
Hi Sharon Didn't get a chance to say hello, how about enzymes on the other list LOL, you got here quick! I guess whoever pointed you here has recommended s site and book - see www.enzymestuff.com I think I recall you saying you thought you have seen some differences with the diet - was that behaviour or physical stuff? Does he have troubles with his bowels? What does he like to eat? All this will help others suggest where to start etc. Something that seems to have good effect on most of our children is reducing sugar, MSG, Aspartame and artificial colours and preservatives. Thats good stuff to be getting on with while you figure out the enzymes stuff. Good luck Mandi in Uk (South Coast)

Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I'm from Dunfermline but study in Dundee. I have 2 boys, Jas is 11 and has Asperger's, Joe is 9 and has ASD and developmental delay. Joe has been GFCF for two years, but I can't help you on menu ideas as he self-restricts his diet to about six things. I've (very) recently started him on enzymes, but it's too soon to tell how well he'll do on them. E-mail me off-list if you want to chat. Guest guest
Hi Nic, thank you very much for replying to my plight for help. How on earth do you cope? hasn't even been officially diagnosed yet and on occassions it all gets too much for me. He has been GFCF for more or less a month now and to be perfectly honest, I know it's still early days, but I don't know if I'm doing more harm than good. (for both of us) His behaviour recently has been particularly bad (especially when out and about in supermarkets) and I often feel at the end of my tether. I am coming off on Annual Leave on Wednesday so shall be spending a lot of time either on-line or with my head in a book learning what I can on enzymes. I'm sorry, I've started moaning and groaning and you will no doubt have plenty on your own plate. It's very inspiring to learn that you are studying at the moment despite everything else that is going on for you. I was supposed to be starting an Open University course in January this year but decided to defer until things had settled at home and I got my head around all of this. Maybe there is hope for me yet. Thanks again and keep me in touch with how the enzymes are going. GOOD LUCK Sharon hi, new and looking for advice > Hello, my name is Sharon and I come from Dundee in Scotland. We have > been following the GFCF diet for our four year old son for a few > weeks now.
