Guest guest
Thanks ! This just emphasizes to me that focussing on methylation might be the way to go with my son. Recently, we thought his distended abdomen might be caused by impacted stool so we tried to clean him out with high doses of magnesium. Well, he got diarrhea but tons did not come out which led us to conclude that he is not impacted. BUT, the magnesium made him quite happy. When we tried TMG and Folinic my son became near-recovered for several hours and then he began a 3-month headbanging spree and his speech regressed again. So, I don't know if we can say he responded negatively or positively. Do you know of a test that can be done to figure all of this out? dosages etc.? It's all so confusing and yet I think it could be a big key. Also, are yeast and bacteria somehow tied into these cycles? Can they impact them? Thanks, Hope
Guest guest
the distended belly may be malabsorbtion/malnutrition if he near recovered on tmg and then crashed then thats an indicator of brain blood sugar metabolism problems. you would be far better to forget the tests and pay attention to supplementation detail. > Thanks ! Guest guest
Thank you . The thing is he's such a good eater. He eats lots of meats and tons of healthy vegetables and some goat yogurt. We are also supplementing with zinc, magnesium, calcium, selenium. We might switch to Brainchild's. He might absorb it better. What should I do about the brain blood sugar metabolism problems? Is this the same as hypoglycemia? I have hypoglycemia symptoms. We don't give him lots of fruit at all - just pear, blueberry, cranberry, lemon - one about every second day. I don't know if you remember. He used to have a voracious appetite - ate way more than most adults. We gave him a clove of garlic every day for a week and that has subsided a bit. Thanks, Hope > > Thanks ! This just emphasizes to me that focussing on > > methylation might be the way to go with my son. Guest guest
you need to post the forms and amounts of the supplements. what brand of enzymes r u using? please read my web pages on 'copper and zinc' and 'minerala i take' and 'skin vitamin d', low copper is a common problem with zinc supplementation. in the index of http://tinyurl.com/2csa3 look at molybdenum supplementation to help detox the yeast metabolic by products and chromium gtf to help with blood sugar issues. being a 'good eater' can go with malbasorbtion. > > > Thanks !
