constipation from enzymes?

I started my 4 year old on No-Fenol and AFP Peptizyde about 1 week ago. He gets

1/2 caps of each with meals (started at 1/3). We have increase stimming, some

hyperness, but coincidence or not he is also having some new verbal

constructions (I need help with the tape- used to be I need help, some

spontaneous why questions- this is big for us, some " fillers " like also, either

etc). No happy child effect, but he is generally in a sunny mood unless you

interrupt his stims (frown). He also seems to reference me better, but I'm also

trying RDI so this may be it for that.

Anyway, I wanted to ask 2 questions:

-does this combination of products seem like a good place to start? When should

I add zyme-prime and should this be substituted for the peptizyde?

-can you see constipation with enzymes? My son's normal and predictable bowel

patterns (since GF/CF) were always a big asset for us, but now he appears to

strain a lot and also asks to go to the bathroom a lot and nothing happens

(which makes me think that he may be trying but is constipated). Anyone

experienced this?
