Hopefully you can see the other side and how complex the situation is. Autism spectrum isn't just one thing. If it were, we probably wouldn't have all the heated disagreements on causes, therapies, what works and what doesn't, etc. But the diagnosis is based solely on observed behavior and the judgement of the examiner. So you get people with completely different symptoms and different underlying problems getting the same diagnosis. Its no wonder entirely different programs help different individuals.
