Vicky-

We had a calcium reaction too with our son (who is now six). No matter what we

tried, he would get beet red in the face and ears and would kick, hit and bite

people. And SCREAM! Obviously, the poor little guy wasn't feeling well but his

victims (and their parents) weren't comforted by this. Anyway, we had to keep

him GFCF because of severe allergies and our pediatrician checked his calcium

levels from time to time for us. All seemed well as far as the test results,

but this past June our son was diagnosed with osteoperosis. He has had three

broken bones so far (in his feet) and tomorrow we are going for an xray because

he hurt his foot and is limping (but not in pain). We just started enzymes in

September and were able to leave the GFCF thing behind without too many side

effects. I'm hoping that the reintroduction of dairy will help with the bone

issues we have, since supplements do not.

BTW, our pediatrician brought up the boron with calcium (just when we saw her

last week). Can anyone recommend a brand?

Thanks!
