Guest guest
My child stillo needs the diet with the enzymes, but it did pick up some other issue I had not found. http://enzymestuff.com/ chesshirecat71 <chesshirecat71@...> wrote: Hi everyone, Just a quick question - do you give enzymes as an alternative to GFCF diet? What are the best references to read up on them , and the ones you find most helpful. Also can I give enzymes to a 19 month old (hes 30lbs) big boy, since off soy formula and regular milk he has been head shaking and speaking in high pitches, im getting nervous, (have 2 others slightly autistic). Im trying to give him soy again and hes screaming at mee and wont take it. im starting to feel i need to do something. Guest guest
Jeanine, no expert here, but there are folks in this group who have given enzymes to their kids the same age as yours. If you just took your son off milk and soy he may be having withdrawl problems. More info at enzymestuff.com and danasview.net. Take Care, Jackie. chesshirecat71 <chesshirecat71@...> wrote: Hi everyone, Just a quick question - do you give enzymes as an alternative to GFCF diet? Guest guest
Hi There: In my opinion, the best resource to read up on the enzymes is de Felice's book " enzymes for Autism and Other Neurological Conditions. " It is a GREAT read and explains so many things. The website www.enzymestuff.com <http://www.enzymestuff.com/> also explains a lot. Lots of folks leave GFCF (or never have to start) with enzymes but some cant. My own daughter (33months) is currently " modified " GFCF w/enzymes.am hoping to leave it altogether one of these days..but for now want the proactive help those proteases give us in gut healing on their own.that and I am not quite confident yet to leave it altogether. As for your poop question - yellow poops and red cheeks.the yellow poops are often a sign of yeast. Check out the " stools " page on the above mentioned website. It describes just about everything you'd ever want to know about poop. The red cheeks can be all kinds of things.yeast, food intolerance, phenol intolerance. New w Question - enzymes instead of GFCF? Hi everyone, Just a quick question - do you give enzymes as an alternative to GFCF diet? What are the best references to read up on them , and the ones you find most helpful. I did, but I still had to remove certain OTHER foods. But the enzymes handled gluten/casein. >>What are the best references to read up on them , and the > ones you find most helpful.
