Guest guest
Hi Dawn, You said: <<The way this paragraph is written is a little confusing. " You can play around with this and amaze your friends and patients by asking the person to stare at a removable red or orange circle held over a white background. When you remove the red circle the person should see a persistent orange or red image instead of the complementary color (blue) which would be seen by an individual with an intact serotonergic system. " From the way I read it, it would seem that a person with an intact serotonergic system would see the complimentary blue color, rather than orange or red, but you inserted your own comments indicating that if blue is seen, then there has been damage to the serotonergic system.... Maybe I'm just seeing double tonight... Can you please read over that paragraph again, and insert your comments again? I just want to be sure I'm understanding correctly. >> You're right. Sorry - I've been making mistakes all day. It's a good thing I'm not at work, huh? ;-) Regards,
Guest guest
> When we first started with enzymes I read that some children do not > need as much B6 when they take enzymes because they are now > absorbing it from their food. Well, my son takes a large amount of > B6 in his morning supplement (300 mg) plus 50 mg of P5P and still we > haven't seen any hyperactivity. What does this mean? Is it a bad > sign? Is he still not absorbing correctly? Once I corrected my son's phenol issues [by ALA chelation], he tolerated and in fact he needed quite high doses of B vitamins. So it is possible that your child needs this much. It can be an absorption issue, or a major deficiency. Dana
