Guest guest
Oh we went tru this when my son was younger. We would be alseep before he was after laying down with him for hours, reading books, etc. Right now we are using 5HTP for calming. It is also supposed to help with sleep issues. People are using Moodsync from Pain Stresser.com, which I have on order. My son does not have sleep issues since he is on Risperdal the last 8 years. He is an adult now and his moods and behaviors were a mess. I decided to try the 5HTP to help get his moods back in control. So far so good Day 5. I give him 25mg in am and 25mg in PM. Hope this helps. Guest guest
We use melatonin to help my daughter get to sleep. We have used it for years with no problem and it works like a charm. Son having trouble going to sleep Well, tonight was worse than other nights. My son took over 2 hours to fall asleep. Typically, it can take about an hour on average per night. Tonight I tried putting him to sleep 15 minutes earlier. I've also tried 15-30 minutes later and still I seem to get around an hour for him to fall asleep. Once he falls asleep, he normally will sleep through the night. I just hate wasting so much of our time laying around in the dark. He also tends to be somewhat hyper at night (and worse behavior in general). He has big ups and downs throughout the day -- going from laying around to racing around. Does anyone have any ideas? He's four years old.

Guest guest
For my 3 yr. old son, this was yeast. I recently began treating him for yeast and now he is asleep within 5 mins. It's like a miracle happened! > > Well, tonight was worse than other nights. My son took over 2 hours > to fall asleep. Typically, it can take about an hour on average per > night.
