Guest guest
hi lena.... this is what nick takes on a daily basis: in his juice w/ breakfast- oj with houston trio enzymes and 1tsp. of brainchild minerals. (they are the minerals that came with the v & m duo with PAK). between breakfast and lunch, one capsule of culturelle in a little oj. lunch, same as breakfast and so is dinner. any snacking in between (rare but it happens), i give all 3 enzymes in some oj. he hasn't eaten so much as a crumb since last august without the enzymes. a bedtime snack, he gets all three enzymes in a little oj. this is all he takes. no other supplements. he used to take dmg but once he was pretty established with the enzymes, he really didn't need it. i hope this helps. good luck and if i can answer any more questions, just ask! tracey
Guest guest
well, i wanted to post an update about my 3 1/2 year old son, nick. since starting enzymes last august, he has now become quite verbal (250+ words and starting to use some sentences!). he was non-verbal after losing his language @ 18 months. he is much more affectionate, has better eye contact, 500% better receptive language, now calls me mommy (yeah!), counts to 12, points to things in books, has started to dress/undress himself, is sooooo happy and continues to play appropriately with all of his toys. I started brainchild vitamins and minerals with PAK on march 1st and changed to just minerals on the 7th due to his intolerance for the vitamins. I haven't done anything else new with him except the minerals and we have seen so many more improvements over the last 7 weeks. my best friend stopped by our house the other day and saw nick. she has known him since the very day he was born but, he hasn't gone near her since he was 18 months old. he went right up to her, smiled, hugged her around the neck and gave her a kiss. then, smiling, he sat in her lap while i put his shoes on for him. we both sat with our mouths gaping wide open. he has been extra loving with me and my husband as well. this is especially wonderful for my husband because my son hardly went near him for a year before starting houston's enzymes. he has been imitating us so much more, telling me, " no, no, no " when he doesn't want something (finally!) and in fact, one morning last week i heard him when he woke up in his bed telling his stuffed animal, " no, no, no! " . i almost fell over. my husband brought nick home a firetruck that he could pedal and ride. the same day, he played with the water as i washed my car. when i went to pick up the sponge, i noticed nick was using it to wash his firetruck! then, he put his hand to me and said, " water " , for me to rinse it for him. he did this about 5x. i even got this on video! here's the topper. although nicholas now goes to pre-school 5 days a week (and loves it!) and is tolerating the presence of other children much, much better, he really doesn't enjoy them. it's definitely more of a tolerating thing. but, my same friend that stopped by last week stopped by again on friday with her son who is only 4 months older than nick. they played nicely " next " to eachother. but, at one point, nick actually looked up at gavin (right in his eyes), smiled and then giggled at him. again, i had to sit down. when gavin and his mom left, he and nick hugged goodbye. yup.... a definite tear-jerker. so, i am crediting the brainchild minerals for even more amazing progress in nick. oh, and his dark circles under his eyes have even subsided a bit. is this possible?? could the minerals be responsible for all of this?? i really wasn't expecting much from the minerals as much as i was from the vitamins. we are going to start td-dmps this week as well so i am excited that i've found minerals that work for nick especially during chelation. so, thanks to terri at brainchild for all your help picking the right formula for nick!!! tracey proud mom to nick, 3-asd
