Does or did anyone's child have severe nailbiting, scab picking, hairpulling

problems and if so, what (preferably supplement) helped reduce these urge

behaviors?

My dd 10 is dx OCD +tics, takes Zoloft and enzymes. Risperdal did not help,

trial of inositol did not help--seemed to increase the nail biting.

Thanks,

My daughter picks at her nails and pulls on her hair when she's

starting to get yeasty. I increase the probiotics when I see this

behavior. If that doesn't work it usually means we're in for more

yeast-type behavior and I give gse and/or oil of oregano.

Has been yeast-related, especially the nailbiting. When I addressed

yeast, the behaviors significantly reduced but still there somewhat.

Adding zinc helped about 90% of the remaining issues. I just started

biotin and it seems to be helping with his remaining issues in those

areas.
