Guest guest
Hi Violet, She may not need all the supplements she's now receiving, or not as much, since the enzymes help the body absorb better. She might be getting too much of something. You might want to consider stopping the SuperNuthera. Brainchild Nutritionals has a great liquid vitamin and mineral program (imo). You can start out with as little or as much as her body needs...Their website is: www.Brainchildnutritionals.com I'm sure others will have suggestions too. I'm glad things are getting better! Best wishes, Gretchen > Hi, > > I started my daughter with No fenol 3 weeks ago. Guest guest
What you describe is a pattern seen many times before. Try reducing or dropping the Supernuthera and B6 first. Synthetic B6 is commonly made from coal tar (same stuff that FG avoids). Supernuthera has a huge amount of B6 which most people do not do well with. With enzymes, the excessive B6 can become much more of a problem than before because enzymes can make not just food more available to the body, but also medications and supplements. After than, you can try taking out or reducing the other supplements one at a time and see if that helps. Doing the epsom salts might help too. . Guest guest
Hi, About 3 weeks ago I posted a message about dark circles under my daughter's eyes increasing after I started her on No Fenol. I just want to say many thanks to all who responded, I used just about all the advise given. The dark circles are now more or less all gone now. Her Supernuthera was with P5P and after the response I recalled an article I read about P5P having problems in the FG diet. I contacted her nutritionist and changed to the simple form of Supernuthera and also reduced her dose. I could not get Epsom salt to buy over here but realized that my daughter only drinks less than a cup of water a day. So I boosted her intake to about 6/7 cups of water a day. The supplements she takes are almost like an equation which gives the result, whenever I subtract one there is some type of regression that goes on past 3 weeks, and I now realize that same should go with introducing anything new (I need to rebalance the dosages). God Bless Violet > Hi, > > I started my daughter with No fenol 3 weeks ago. Guest guest
For those of you using No Fenol to keep yeast under control, do you use it on a daily basis, or only when you have yeast? In other words, does it lose its effectiveness if used everyday? Also, is there a risk of bacterial overgrowth with using the No Fenol on a regular basis as there seems to be with other products that fight yeast? My son just made an AWESOME comeback after I started the No Fenol a few days ago! Thanks
Guest guest
No risk of bacteria issue that I'm aware of. No, No Fenol doesn't lose it's effectiveness over time, although there may come a point where the body is sufficient to produce the enzymes needed and No Fenol is no longer required. Guest guest
You can get SCD information from http://www.pecanbread.com - we also don't have any DAN doctors here so I use the search function at http://www.danasview.net and you can get information on almost any aspect of autism, including biomedical, there. As for the rash, did you just start any sort of new protocol, or did he eat anything different than usual? My kids have that type of rash, particularly on their upper arms. Treating yeast, using enzymes (they take Houston chewable Zyme Prime, No Fenol and AFP Peptizyde) and keeping a lot of things out of their diet still, notably dairy and anything artificial, and sugar, has helped. They still get it from allergies, yeast, small amounts of casein, or other various intolerances. No Fenol has been amazing for us. If you're dealing with yeast or phenol issues, it is worth a try. Amy > > Hi everyone. Hope everyone is doing well this morning. I'm wondering, I have an unusual situation from some others here. My son will eat anything, tolerant or not and his is reacting with red, raised bumpy rash. I am wondering if the No Fenol will allow him to eat less or at least process the stuff better? > > I was told by a fellow mom in the area that there are no good autism-friendly docs just the kind that give an rx and send you on your way. There is one doc that is autism friendly but hard to get into. I'm considering SCD as well as enzymes, should I go to a DAN!, get the protocol in print and absorb it, there is also a gastro doc that is SCD friendly, etc. I'm in rural Indiana and just about scared to go to the doc for this rash! > > Someone help please?!?!?!? > > Thanks. > April. > Mom of 7yoASD, 3yo (dare I say normal developing!) > > > --------------------------------- > Talk is cheap.
