Guest guest
, I don't have any experience with it, but you don't have to travel to Colorado for it!! Dr. Block has it in her office in Hurst. She was so impressed with it that she bought the equipment so she could offer it too - she is really excited about it. > Hi everyone, > I'm relatively new to this list, and have been doing some research > into the Bolles method of sensory integration via the Sensory > Learning Institute in Boulder, CO. Guest guest
Sorry for multiple posts. Has anyone had any experience with the Sensory Learning Institute in Boulder, CO, or its sister site in Flint, MI? Please forward both positive and negative stories. With thanks, Joan
Guest guest
Hi Joan, My son did the SLP at the Sensory Learning Institute. Boulder CO. Although I have heard some great stories, I did not see much or any progress in my son's case except for a little better eye contact. On the downside my son will not be allowed to use headphones for most part of his life. This to me is a very big disadvantage because, he might miss out on a lot of fun things and also may not be able to watch his CD roms at school. It is hard because I also have to go around telling all who work with him not to use headphones with him. It also made us poorer by $2500. Bolles is a wonderful woman. and all staff at the Institute are wonderful just that the SLP was not a great idea for my son. This is purely our experience, since every child is different, opinions might differ. Bindu jandjmig <jandjmig@...> wrote: Sorry for multiple posts.
