Guest guest
Hi. One question, did you change your diet, add any foods, in any way when you started the enzymes? a mom to joel > Hi everyone, > > I'm new to this list...posted a couple of times. For me, this means I am eating a food which the enzymes don't address. Try using Pepcid AC, works well for me for *most* of my reflux. Guest guest
I had the same problem until I started taking the lugols in food or after the meal in a drink. The elemental iodine is highly reactive and can burn sensitive skin so no wonder it shouldn't be taken on an empty stomach or even with simple juice. It needs to be taken with starchy meals to absorb the iodine. Many people taking iodoral due to acid reflux from lugols could do fine with lugols if taken according to my instructions, and they would save a lot of money. There are some nut jobs over at curezone telling people to take these on an empty stomach. Don't listen to them. The only caveat is to take any lab-produced vit c one hour before or two hours after the meal with iodine for maximum effect of the iodine. That includes any store bought drinks which have vit c added. > > Some people find lugols irritates the stomach. Maybe you should switch back > to iodoral.
