I would take a probiotic to put good microbes in the gut to be there

while the harmful bugs are being eliminated. The harmful bacteria

become a problem when the yeast are eliminated and nothing else is

added to take up the space. It is like killing off all the weeds in

your yard (burn down, tilling them under, etc). If you don't put in

grass seed (probiotics), what is the first thing to pop up in the

yard and become the most proliferent? the weeds (the harmful bacteria)

>>>> 2. I have heard that you should stop supplementation when you

initially treat w/Nystatin? All supps? Are enzymes ok? We

currently supp w/all 3 HNI enzymes, calcium, magnesium, zinc,

acidophilus, CLO, EFAs, Vit. C, & Yeast Aide.

The enzymes would be good to continue. This will help your child's

body to make the most out of whatever nutrition he takes in which is

necessarily during a yeast treatment due to the stress it puts on the

body. Enzymes will also help the yeast treatment work more

effectively. Particularly if you take No-Fenol, Candidase or Candex

type enzymes with the yeast treatment.

If the die-off becomes difficult, try adding in more proteases to

help remove the yeast cell debris and lessen the die-off reaction.

Epsom salts may also help with this.

I read from a dr on yeast ( S of Feast Without Yeast and an

autism doc), that if you have yeast don't give B vitamins

(particularly B6) as these feed yeast. I read that in another yeast

book too but I don't know why it is those vitamins in particular.

The minerals should be fine though. Zinc helps with immune function

in particular and magnesium helps with calming and neuro function.

Is yeast aide one with the yeast-fighting herbs? if so, continue that

one two just because the more yeast fighting things you can get in

there, the better they can assis the nystatin.

This may very well eliminate any bacteria problem from even starting.

Thanks , so much! I was reading Dr. Bruce Semon's chapter on

Treating Yeast in ASD kids (Ch. 12) from Dr. Shaw's book. It

confirms some of what you said but left a few things out, like the

B6 issue, leaving minerals in, etc.

He did say to stop vitamins. Don't know why, but I suppose I'm

comfortable with that. Any thoughts on that yourself?

Hi,

My son just stop Nystatin 3 months ago just because hasn't Candida

anymore. I gave him Nystatin for 8 months, and of course no sugar (only

Stevia leaf for sweeting his drinks), no yeast, no preservatives (the

vinegar is one of them), no flavorings, no gluten and casein. My son has

now 4 years old and I will start next week to give him TD-DMPS (dr.

Buttar's protocol). Used to give him enzymes, calcium, magnesium, zinc,

selenium, methylcobalamin (MB12) powder, vitamin C, DMG, Coenzyme Q10,

EnZyme-Complete/DPP-IV, No-Fenol , BIOTIN, Pro-Bio-Gold and BIO-KULT

like probiotic. I never stoped to give him these, still is takeing. What

can I tell you else? My son was better day by day, made amazeing

progresses... Don't know enough english to tell you how is my son after

GF, CF and Nystatin diet. I'm not a doctor for telling you what is

better to do, just can say that I never stop supplementation.

All the best and good luck!

Starting Nystatin...should we treat for increased

Hi ,

I read where you were talking about starting TD-DMPS. Are you

actually doing it or at the doctor's? I am thinking about this for

my daughter.

Thanks,

Angelia

Hi, Angelia

I'm not from USA and lost time tried to find a doctor to order my son

TD-DMPS. Finally found one two weeks ago and I call AMT Pharmacy, have

send by fax the medical prescription (they wanted that my son's doctor

calls there, but he doesn't speak english, so in the end ask me for the

license number of him....); cost me 160 dolars and one of these days

must to receive at home this transdermaly form of DMPS. What I know is

that dr. Rachid Buttar's TD-DMPS is effective for children under the age

of 9 for a complete cure; is compose by DMPS conjugated with zinc and

glutathione; with it you chelate a little bit out every 48 hours;

TD-DMPS haven't oxidative reaction like DMPS one; Important is the

child is well mineralized on the Off Day (the day when you treat with

TD-DMPS must to avoid that the child takes metals - like: Zn, selenium,

Mg, Ca... - but next day the child must have double dose of them,

expecially extra calcium and magnesium). Anyway, if you start with,

treatment will continue until Hg levels came back down and the protocol

is available through AMT pharmacy. I will start apply TD-DMPS

imediatelly and I will let you know everything is going on. My choice

was TD-DMPS cause I'm afraid of old methodes of chelation and because

TD-DMPS even if is slower, is safer and a continous flow. If you are

interesting about, in Google search for " dr. Buttar " , and read

something about him.
