Guest guest
He probably has " viral issues " , meaning, if you ran titers on some viruses he would probably come up as having very high titers even though the disease or shots were given long ago... or he has issues with strep bacteria (google PANDAS)(again, high antibodies to it, indicating that it's an ongoing problem--levels are fluctuating--at times his immune system is able to deal with it and at other times when his immune system is attending to something else (like the stomach flu he's having right now) then his immune system isn't dealing with it). Guest guest
Hi-- I don't have the answer other than address metal toxicity issues through whatever means you are comfortable with--chelation, mineral supplementation, non-chelator things but things that reportedly help move metals like b12 injections, transdermal allithiamine, glutathione, etc. Also try different antivirals... lauricidin, olive leaf extract... things to help the immune system... What is helping my son right now, knock on wood, is NOW Super COlostrum that has colostrum plus olive leaf extract, larch arabinogalactin and a few other immune helper things. He's also done well on high vitamin C, lauricidin, maimonides colostrum. We did some vitamin A treatments for a while, too. But again, I am starting to think that you do have to try different things because with each product there is a period of " good things " happening for a while, and then as time goes on it becomes apparent that this isn't really the " it " supplement for him anymore and so then I find something else and see the almost immediate improvements with that " something else " . Sometimes I go back to what worked before...we've done lauricidin several times...high dose vitamin C several times... Also, viral kids seem to either get really really good when they are sick or really really regress when they are sick and I haven't figured out why there is the difference between the two. I just know that these two scenario's are not how a typical immune system reacts. Good luck, W > -omg this is my son to a T...high titers etc...we are treating him > with Vitamin A and probiotics...what else can I do? > >
Guest guest
Yes, apparently the strep is a bacteria, although oddly sometimes on the internet you can find it referred to as a virus. But I think in general it's considered a bacteria. It's confusing! Like I just wrote in the previous message, I think that it may help to rotate between antiviral meds/supp's that you are using because I think they do affect or target different things. It is a mess! I keep thinking, why does a 7 year old " need " to be on colostrum with olive leaf extract, etc. I mean, when he is off of these things for a good length of time, we get lots of impulsivity, poor auditory skills, and when things are really bad then he starts having facial grimacing/face making all the time. Then I get him " on " something again and we have lots of die off in the gut and then he is pretty much fine--basically NT. I keep thinking this is such a mess to be this young and have your system so messed up from metal toxicity. W > Hi- Thanks for the reply. He does have PANDAS- but I know the antibiotic he takes for strep won't touch a viral issue. I have an Rx for > acyclovir, but ? if it will address this particular viral strain. As Dana says, it does seem to cause yeast for some reason, but in combination with OLE it seems to work quite well. Nell

For my son's viral issues, I used high dose vitamin A protocol, olive leaf extract, Lauricidin/monolaurin, certain yeast fighters [viral die off causes yeast for my son, altho yesterday it looks like FINALLY that problem is going away!], and protease enzymes.
