I use Carnosine from my local health food store. It really helps my

kids with language and behaviors.

It can tend to increase copper levels, so you might need to give it

with zinc. I believe the Carn-Aware already comes with zinc.

My daughter, then 14, couldn't handle carn-aware....might have been the

zinc. Children that can't handle Carn-aware have had some success with just

plain carnosine. My daughter did well on it for about 3 weeks, but had other

issues going on so we stopped it while trying medication. I've never thought

to try it again now that she is med free.
