Guest guest
Hi All! Two days ago at dinner, I had to STOP giving my son (3, ASD) NF because we ran out, and we are waiting for our order to arrive. Of course I've continued to give him the ZP, and AFP Pep. at full doses at each meal. Well, yesterday at dnner, he was having his usual ONE THING (the one and only thing he eats on a regular basis), but at the suggestion of our feeding expert, which we just started seeing,I had gotten some applesauce, very smooth, in one of those convenient one serving containers, and have been putting it in " his space " NOT directly in front of him, but it was clearly his, with a spoon, laying beside it. Been doing this for two days or so as well. Anyway, last night, he put the spoon in the applesauce, then started bringing the spoon to his mouth, and licking the applesauce off the spoon. He did this for a good 15 minutes, dipping the spoon back into the applesauce and licking off the spoon. This is a boy who has NEVER touched, let alone tasted fruit in his ENTIRE LIFE!! Well, after dinner was over, a little later on, he took an apple off the counter, that my other son had taken a bite of, and started licking it at the place where it had been bitten. THEN, he saw some green beans on my plate that I hadn't yet gotten a chance to clean up, and he picked one up, and looked at it, THEN HE TASTED IT!! OK, I cannot even tell you about his thing with " green " anything. Until now, if you even presented any kind of green food to him, be it candy, be it fruit, be it ANYTHING, he would cringe in fear, and run away literally!! ALL OF THIS IS SO HUGE!! I HAD TO SHARE MY JOY!!! I hope this " food thing " continues, I'm just trying to figure out why, really, any thoughts? We had originally started giving him NF to counter the hyperness that the ZP caused during our intro period. I had just kept giving it to him though, because I thought he had a phenol problem, but now after reanalyzing it, my husband and I think, probably not, because he doesn't show any of the signs of it anymore, like he used too. So, I think I'm just going to continue giving him the ZP, and the AFP Pep. and just keep the NF for reserve, just in case I might need it, does that sound good? We've also seen a lot of other nice changes over all in the last few days, and really, I'm not sure what to attribute that to, could be the enzymes!! Thanks for listening and letting me share! Any and all advice is appreciated! _________________________________________________________________ Check out Election 2004 for up-to-date election news, plus voter tools and more! http://special.msn.com/msn/election2004.armx
