, I mostly lurk anymore, but I am a 35 year old adult who takes

enzymes along with my 2 sons, one NT and one mostly NT (now). I have

had many similar symptoms, and still have issues with yeast.

I am TERRIBLE about staying consistent with my own supplements, diet,

etc., so it's hard for me to remember what worked and what didn't over

the years. Currently I take Houston's AFP at every meal. I had a

difficult time " working up " to it, because I would get stomach cramps,

which I believe were from yeast. I started by eating a little organic

yogurt everyday, building up little by little, then adding in probiotics

from Enzymatica (is that right?), then starting with about half a

capsule of AFP and working up from there. Never had stomach problems

with this system.

I HAVE had stomach cramps with the other two enzymes, and again, I've

just been too undisciplined to take a gradual approach. My kids had no

problems, so go figure.

Currently for yeast I alternate between grapefruit seed extract and oil

of oregano. The GSE is easier on my system, I don't seem to get big

die-off reactions...but I seem to develop a tolerance for it quickly.

Oil of Oregano (I use Oreganol) seems to knock the yeast out of my body

and anything within 50 yards. LOTS of die-off, even if I start slowly.

Couldn't concentrate at work, etc. I don't take either of them for more

than a week, because of the tolerance issue for me.

If I get hit with the " fibro " pain too badly, I take 1000 mg of

magnesium twice a day. I also had success with progesterone cream,

which I wouldn't recommend for you. ; ) However, since I started on

Adderall (ADD medicine) last May, my fibro pain has largely disappeared.

I've got lots more, but this has gotten way too long. Feel free to

email me if you want more info. And consider sticking around this

board; lots of the adults here use enzymes and other treatments too. I

learn more here than anywhere else about what actually works and what

doesn't. Good luck!
