Try taking lots of Peptizyde (inbetween meals too), which can help

lessen the effects of colds and flu. We take 3 to 4 times more of

the AFP Peptizyde several times a day when a cold or cough pops up

and it's gone very quickly and with less severity. Also, we take

3,000 mg or more (spread out throughout the day)of buffered vitamin

C during the cold and flu season to help build up the immunity a

little more. Dr. Houston has the powdered form of the AFP Peptizyde

too if that's easier for you to take.

If you can tolerate it, garlic capsules and/or echinacea/goldenseal complex may

really work to loosen up your congested head/fight off the infection, as both

garlic and goldenseal act as natural antibiotics....works for me every time.

Best wishes,

Patty

OT: My sinus infection

Okay, sorry for the off topic, but I need help and I know how good

you all are at things like this. Here's my recent history... I had

strep throat on July 24. I know it was strep because my oldest 2 got

it 2 days later and I did take them to the dr. I of course didn't go

to the dr. and didn't go on an antibiotic. About the time the sore

throat was almost gone, I started getting a stuffy/runny nose. It

got so bad that I went through a family sized box of Kleenex all by

myself in less than a week! It has never gone away, and has 2 or 3

times now felt like a sinus infection. Today it has gotten

miserable. I feel fine every where but my head. My sinuses on my

right side are killing me, and now it hurts down in my jaw and teeth -

- only on the right side. What can I do with out going to the dr. I

REALLY don't like antibiotics. I have tried extra Vit C and B12

(emergen-C) I tried the nasal rinse with GSE. That about kills me.

I have tried alternating cold/ hot compresses. What next? Thanks!

Olive Leaf Extract and/or Lauricidin.

They work better if given with AFP(or Pep)

and NF.

For my, sinus infections are yeast-related, but if you have tried GSE

and it made things worse, then it is possibly bacteria or viral for you.

Consider olive leaf extract, that can help if it is viral.
